Key Feature Call Out

Display Relative Time from 'today' for Date and Datetime Properties

No More Mental Math in HubSpot CRM!

Having worked with teams who frequently struggle with manual calculations, this update is designed to eliminate the guesswork. Relative Time for Date and Datetime Properties now makes it easy to see how long it’s been since a client was last contacted or how much time remains until a deadline—no manual tracking needed.

Why focus here? Manually calculating dates can slow teams down and increase the chance of errors. This new feature ensures that important information is available at a glance, simplifying your workflow. Best of all, there’s no need to create new properties—just update your existing ones and you’re good to go.

This public beta feature is available to all hubs and tiers.

What Is It?

You can now display the relative time since or until 'today' in the Smart CRM for both date and datetime properties. This new feature allows you to easily visualize how much time has passed since an event or how much time remains until an important deadline.

Why Does It Matter?

Understanding when something happened relative to 'today' is crucial for many CRM use cases, like tracking key activities or upcoming deadlines. For example:

  • How long has it been since sales or support last responded to a customer?
  • How many days remain until the deadline for a contract to be signed?
  • How many days have passed since an appointment was scheduled?

This update allows you to easily track these metrics using your existing date and datetime properties, helping you better manage interactions and deadlines without the need for manual calculations.
