New Workflow Actions for Associations
This week, I’m excited to spotlight a big update that's set to simplify life for admins: New Workflow Actions for Associations.
This update is available to Content, Marketing, Ops, Sales, and Service Enterprise and Pro accounts.
What Is It?
HubSpot’s latest public beta introduces new workflow actions, allowing admins to automate parts of the association management process through workflows. They will be able to use new association actions within their workflows to help:
- Apply, update, or remove association labels.
- Create new associations between records based on matching property values.
These features are now integrated into workflows for contacts, companies, deals, tickets, and custom objects, helping you manage associations more efficiently.
Why Does It Matter?
Managing associations and labels is a time-consuming manual task. Here is why it's a game-changer:
- Improve Efficiency: Automate tedious tasks and focus on what matters most.
- Save Money: No more spending on third-party tools; this feature is built into HubSpot.
- Enhance Data Quality: Reduce manual errors and keep your data consistent.
Quick Create
Sometimes, it’s the simple things that make all the difference. HubSpot has always offered multiple ways to get things done, and now, they’ve made it even easier with the new Quick Create feature. This update is a fantastic addition for anyone looking to streamline their daily tasks and keep their focus where it matters.
This update is available to all HubSpot users, across all hubs and tiers.

HubSpot’s Quick Create feature allows you to create new contacts, companies, deals, and tickets with just a few clicks, no matter where you are in the platform. This feature is designed to keep you in context, so you can stay focused on your work without unnecessary interruptions. Whether you’re in an object’s view, working through a workflow, or using integrations, Quick Create makes it simple to add records on the fly.
How to Use HubSpot's Quick Create Feature:
- Locate the Quick Create (+) button to the right of the global search bar in HubSpot.
- Click on the Quick Create button and select the type of record you want to create.
- A creation form will appear on the right side of your screen. Enter the necessary details for your new record.
- Click "Save." Your new record will be created instantly, right where you need it.
