THE CHALLENGE
Siloed systems blocking performance potential
Cornerstone’s sales and marketing teams were facing major inefficiencies with their existing systems, Salesforce and Pardot.
Salesforce was overly complex and expensive for their sales needs, creating challenges in day-to-day operations. Pardot, on the other hand, fell short in supporting marketing campaigns and daily activities, leading to minimal usage by the team.
Additionally, Cornerstone struggled to find efficiency in their syncing of processes and data between Salesforce and Pardot. The marketing and sales teams were operating in silos without the ability to properly track how marketing leads were being engaged by sales or the success of those leads throughout the funnel.

Data hygiene and cleanup
To align with Cornerstone’s focus on simplification, the accelant team guided Cornerstone through a best practice approach to data cleanup to ensure only accurate, current and strategic data was migrated from Salesforce to HubSpot.

By streamlining their existing sales pipeline stages, Cornerstone was able to simplify their process. This allowed for easier enabling of their sales team and a more efficient buyer’s experience for their customers.
Lifecycle stage management
Understanding that the tracking of leads from first touch to the end of the sales process was a challenge, accelant partnered with Cornerstone to create a tailored lifecycle stage funnel that matched their existing buyer’s journey.
“Train the trainer” approach
Cornerstone wanted to ensure the long-term success and adoption of HubSpot. As such, a “train the trainer” model was taken that brought Cornerstone’s key HubSpot stakeholder deep into the migration and implementation process, allowing them hands on training throughout to guarantee their understanding of the platform and system architecture.
